Went to him for a broken collarbone with a lot of displacement 3 days after the break, was told to go ahead and take the sling off and start moving it slowly working backup to full mobility. No new xrays done and spent all of 5 minutes with me. Called and got a second opinion and told them what I was told and was told NO!!! Do not take the sling off yet, headed for surgery in a few days with a new doctor. Do not recommend, if you want a good ortho go to Spectrum
Made my wife feel terrible. Horrible bedside manner. Basically told her she needed to learn to live with it because other people do. I thought doctor's were supposed to offer healing...
Dr. Velyvis took excellent care of me. Surgery went better than I thought possible. I feel like a new person. The details and time he spent with me was much appreciated and I won't forget it. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you!
Great staff and Dr.Velyvis is awesome he done both my hips and I have not had any problems or pain after healing before he done my right hip I was in a wheel chair then 7 months later he done my left im going good now can't say enough great things about this place and his staff and him it took me 1 45 mins to get to his office in Martinsville from blacksburg and would do it tomorrow if I had to
