Dr Varner helped me tremendously. I felt as I was dying be cause of prior cardiologist treatment plan was not helping me. Dr Varner made necessary changes to my meds and i have done great over 2 years. Highly recommend him.

He is one of the worst cardiologists I have ever met. The staff was amazing, but he was not. I reported him and hope they do something about this doctor.

I went to this doctor because I have been having heart palpitations and chest pains along with brain fog. He was laughing while I read him a list of my symptoms. It was a new patient appointment (usually 40 minutes) and I was in and out the door in 15 minutes. He walked in the room already knowing that he was going to do nothing for me. He acted as if I wanted to be diagnosed with something awful when in fact I am just trying to figure out why I feel the way I feel. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He said I had 80% blockage on both sides of my heart and need 2 stents put in so couldn’t have my hip replacement. Told me if I had the hip replacement I would either have a stroke or heart attack on the table. Sent to a have a heart catheter. It was done and results showed that I didn’t have any blockages, heart muscles a little weak and Afib. It would have been okay to have hip replaced. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. Ive been happy with Dr Varner , rather have a guy that speaks his mind and is informative rather than making me feel like a customer.
