Dr. Thompson is a very highly skilled Orthopedic surgeon. His focus is on foot and ankle problems. In my case of a crush injury of the left ankle and foot, Dr. Thompson performed open reduction and fixation of multiple fractured bones and joint fusion of the great toe. Dr. Thompson was fantastic. I first met him waiting to go into the surgery on my ankle. He explained everything, including what the surgery would be like, what it was meant to accomplish, what the first few days after would be like, what recovery over the next few weeks and months would be like, and what kind of functionality I should expect in the long run (back to normal). Dr Thompson repaired my peroneal tendon and adjusted my heal position in my right foot. I just finished my last follow up and everything worked out great. He is a good Doctor and always told the time to explain what was going on. Thanks for getting me back on my feet
