Dr. Ruth was dismissive, argumentative, and rude. His notes in my chart where not accurate and in at least 2 places where completely wrong. His resident was visibly uncomfortable at Dr. Ruth's treatment of and attitude toward me. I highly recommend that if you want to actually be examined, listened to, diagnosed or treated you should find ANY other doctor.
I really don't know if he's a good doctor or not. He certainly wasn't as compassionate with me as he appeared to be on his Banner video. I would probably recommend not making an appointment for late in the day like I did because of my work schedule. He seemed rushed and dismissive and didn't really have much time for me on my first-ever visit to an orthopedist after many years of orthopedic and orthopedic-adjacent issues.
Dr. Ruth performed a total right hip replacement that changed my life from being in extreme pain to becoming completely pain free. He is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon who is also compassionate and caring towards his patients. I am so appreciative to him for my surgery that restored my ability to walk and enjoy life again. Thank you Dr. Ruth!
