If there were an any way to score a 0 I would. Worst customer service EVER!! He creates his own schedule, which includes working after 10 pm. I hired him because he said he could do this job in a week. A week on one day later, he shows up and lays paper in one room; comes back 4 days later. It took him 3 weeks to paint one room in the house and it wasn’t done well, paint was peeling and splotchy. Horrible job! Took him 3 days to strip and paint one door jamb. I prefer to write complementary reviews. There is JUST. NO. WAY. on this one! The fails were endless: John’s follow up was dismal. As we had interior work, we tried to be cooperative with his exterior work schedule. I had to repeatedly follow up and prompt our job to get onto his schedule as the rainy days came. I regret that to this day!! When he took our items for painting, he had us number the doors. Good idea, right? Then he painted over them! I’d like to not give any stars or recommend John. He gave us a bid on July 3, 2023. We gave him a $1,000 deposit on July 9th and set our date to paint almost the entire interior of our house. He pushed or changed our date 3 different times. The 4th date he was a no show. We have been trying to get our money back, it’s now November 16, 2023. Over 4 months with him basically stealing our money. We have all this in writing and in texts. So be careful.
