My consultation didn't go as planned on my end, however he was EXTREMELY patient with me as I processed the news. He was kind, compassionate and very honest about the surgery process along with the potential risk if I refused. (Yes I asked about refusal!) My surgery has been scheduled very promptly along with post surgical appointments. ♥️♥️♥️
Had appointment with Dr serak, seemed to listen and care about my health and well being, and setting up my surgery, putting Cage, and fusion from l3tol5,
I have a great deal of pain in my legs and sometimes in my lower back due to L4&5 severe stenosis and a vertebrae misalignment. After trying other solutions with limited success, it was time to see Dr. Serek. The office workers were polite and pleasant. Dr. Serek had a very upbeat presence. He seemed open, explained the basic surgery procedures, and welcomed questions from both myself and my husband. I'm opting for surgery to get my active lifestyle back. Hopefully, I will be able to leave a shining review a month from now.
Very unhappy with him . He was in my room for maybe 10 minutes. Dismissed my concerns . Said if something hurt “just don’t do it” . Said my protruding L5 S1 herniated disc wasn’t “that bad” but I can barely walk without excruciating pain on occasions .
I mentioned neuropathy and he said that he couldn't help me and walked out the door chuckling to the Dr. with him. He wasn't in the room more than 2 minutes, if that. I didn't even get to talk to him about the back issues that I was sent to him for. He was very rude and dismissive.
