I have a great deal of pain in my legs and sometimes in my lower back due to L4&5 severe stenosis and a vertebrae misalignment. After trying other solutions with limited success, it was time to see Dr. Serek. The office workers were polite and pleasant. Dr. Serek had a very upbeat presence. He seemed open, explained the basic surgery procedures, and welcomed questions from both myself and my husband. I'm opting for surgery to get my active lifestyle back. Hopefully, I will be able to leave a shining review a month from now.

Very unhappy with him . He was in my room for maybe 10 minutes. Dismissed my concerns . Said if something hurt “just don’t do it” . Said my protruding L5 S1 herniated disc wasn’t “that bad” but I can barely walk without excruciating pain on occasions .

I mentioned neuropathy and he said that he couldn't help me and walked out the door chuckling to the Dr. with him. He wasn't in the room more than 2 minutes, if that. I didn't even get to talk to him about the back issues that I was sent to him for. He was very rude and dismissive.

I’m 61 and my back feels as good as when I was in college. When I went to Dr Serak I was using a walker for the pain, had severe foot drop and couldn’t stand upright. Had a double fusion with spacers and some “clean up work” in the L3-5 area. Did the rehab exercises (extremely important), The guy gave me my life back. 6 months after surgery I’m playing golf 3+ times a week. Working out 6 days a week. DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE TELLING YOU BACK SURGERY WILL MAKE IT WORSE! I will forever be grateful to Dr Serak and his staff.
