I went to see Dr. Munger at NYU Langone last M 1/12/2026, had a great experience. Dr. Munger is a very nice, meticulous, kind, and considerate person who listens attentively to his patients’ concerns. And he uses his highly professional skills to analyze the causes of the illnesses. He is one of the most patient and considerate doctors I’ve met at NYU Langone. (Many doctors in NYU Langone end their consultations after only a few minutes of talking with the patient). He is the best!
I've been seeing Dr. Munger for long-covid related issues for about half a year now. Of the doctors I've seen, Munger has been the most helpful for my specific case by a wide margin. He evidently does deep research into his areas of expertise and develops his own opinions and thoughts on methodologies in a principled way. While doing so, he also balances the "academic / intellectual" research with a grounded, practical view from his own experiences and intuitions. I went to him for an NYU long covid video visit. He is clearly incredibly intelligent, listened to all my concerns, had a lot of questions, explained things to me, went over my bloodwork, answered some questions I had and is a patient, friendly person. He is having me do some tests. I'm not sure how much long covid in general can be helped at this point in time...but I feel like seeing him is a great start on the journey to work on getting better.
