I had a great experience with Dr. Koppman. He repaired my hernia in October and I had no trouble at all. Other than not being able to lift much weight for a few weeks, I was back to normal after a couple days. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
He is the best! If you need surgery this is the one you need to go to. He listens to what you have to say and is very calm and reassuring. I recently had surgery by him and his first time I never had any problems.
On January 2, 2020, Dr. Koppman performed a successful hernia-mesh repair. Dr. Koppman accepted the challenge of correcting another physician's botched surgery. There was little pain and his hernia-mesh repair has to date been very successful. There are very few Florida surgeons who have the professional skills exhibited by Dr. Koppman to perform a successful hernia-mesh repair. He is a credit to the medical profession.
Dr. Koppman performed my Husband’s hernia repair less than a month ago. Minimally invasive procedure performed with expertise! I was amazed how quickly he recovered. Dr. Koppman was extremely professional and friendly. I work as a patient care coordinator and highly recommend Dr. Koppman per feedback from several patients.

Dr.Koppman is an exceptional doctor. He saved my life. He is compassionate, caring and professional all in one. I am so thankful Dr. Koppman cared for me and gave me a second chance while other doctors pushed me away. Anyone who receives care from Dr. Koppman should consider themselves very fortunate and should feel confident they are in excellent hands with a doctor who takes the time to listen, answer questions and tell you what to expect.
My Mother was hospitalized and needed surgery. Dr Koppman was kind, compassionate and explained everything in simple language. Highly recommend Dr Koppman and I wouldt want to have any other surgeon.
Dr. Koppman is such a great individual. He's very talented, caring, and didn't take my situation lightly. He didn't have any problems explaining things or answering any questions. He's very compassionate and I think anyone who goes to him won't regret it :) His secretary, Jennifer, was very nice as well. His office gives off a very welcoming feeling.
I am so grateful that Dr. Koppman walked into my hospital room (after yet another partial small bowel obstruction) a few months ago, and told me (when no one else had offered any hope) that he might be able to fix the problem through laparoscopic surgery. My surgery was 3 weeks ago; I feel great and my prognosis is good. Dr. Koppman is one of the most professional doctors I've dealt with; he was wonderful about answering all of my questions pre- and post-surgery. I trust & recommend him highly.
