For annual exam and other conditions
My first visit was an emergency, my sight had drastically changed over night, I was scared and I didn't trust the ophthalmologist I had been seeing. He very patiently explained my situation, no, I wasn't going blind, but I should have been in progressives 2 years prior. Very disappointed to learn he has retired.
Doctor is known as an excellent contact lens fitter, with decades of experience. He is quick, and thorough in his exams. His sense of humor is borderline and some will find it offensive. I left this practice because I felt he wasn't listening.. Multiple visits over several years I was unable to get a thorough answer to problem. When I consulted a different MD, I understood why Doctor did not respond. The treatment would have been complicated and detailed.
Office staff wasn't professional by any means. Dr. Tisdall is very good at his job though!
