Dr Reed has been my pcp for over 8 years. He is compassionate, caring and takes his time to explain things, make recommendations and also follow up with you when you have concerns. When he moved his office to Crozet, I made sure to follow his practice there.
Nice enough guy, staff was warm. Ran extremely late for my appointment. Began with how I "have a complex medical history" and questioned me extensively about how I've lost a significant amount of weight over the past year. More interested in my diet than anything else. Might be a good fit if you don't require management, but don't be "extra". One star for the staff, one because he was at least upfront.
Failed to address any concerns I had during my visit, and instead contradicted what other health care professionals have told me. He gave poor advice that was not requested, clearly never looked at my chart, because he wanted to know why I was not on a medication that would be extremely dangerous for me, repeated himself multiple times about things that were not relevant to me, and was generally unhelpful.
