Poor communication, he was 2 hours late for last app't. Been trying for 2 days to contact him or his nurse. No luck
Dr. Barnica is the best doctor I have ever seen. He explains everything to you and spends time with his patients. He did the almost impossible with a positive outcome. I would trust him with all my gastro needs. He will be performing surgery soon and I have complete confidence in his ability to make me feel better. Thanks for the great care.
After multiple appointments and procedures to try and fix a fistula by non-surgical means failed (and may have actually made it worse) I ended up with Dr Barnica, and wish I had STARTED here! He is an excellent, caring and extremely knowledgeable doctor. He and his staff went out of their way to make my repairs happen before the end of the year and an extremely long and painful journey of 9 months. I can’t explain my whole situation in this small space. But in looking at all the other reviews one spoke to me. It stated exactly what I wanted to say about Dr Barnica. Take the time to find the review by Cassandra Hogans December 23, 2024. She says it all. He is an excellent doctor. An extremely knowledgeable surgeon & has a wonderful bedside manner in that he takes the time to make sure you understand your diagnosis, what’s involved in your surgery & your path to healing. Thank God for placing him in our community.

Dr Barnica is my surgeon for colorectal cancer and I would highly highly recommend him.He is greatly loved and respected by me for many reasons but primarily saving my life. My cancer proved extremely difficult in many ways, its location was one of those difficulties & Dr Barnica expertly tackled this with perfect margin results! My experience with Dr. Cannon was excellent. Several years ago he unblocked a 100% blocked artery (that was found almost by accident), using a procedure which, at that time, was relatively new. And I continued to see him for a few years after that. Unfortunately, he moved from that original practice, and went to one exclusively affiliated with a hospital that I have very negative feelings about. Excellent. He addressed my condition. He listened, explained things, He explained what his plan was for me ( surgery) . I felt that he was knowledgeable and aggressive in his approach. I had no problem getting an appointment . Staff was excellent. I would definitely recommend him.
Never listens, argues with patient about how they're feeling, difficult to get prescriptions. In order to have prescriptions refilled, she blackmails you: She requires a 2-minute, $200 appointment every 3 months to get scrips filled. These are ordinary scrips I've been taking for 30 years...!!!
