Staff were incredible on a busy Friday night/Saturday morning. They all do a great job, especially when there are so many patients to see. One bit of feedback, myself and others interrupted the staff to ask what the next steps were as we were transfered to different areas of A&E. These interruptions mean that the staff cannot focus on caring for patients. To stop this, I would suggest that staff update patients (especially when they are being moved to another assessments area) or during each interaction (blood pressure, ecg ... read more

I very much appreciated the staff at the A&E department here taking good care of my granny when she fell over and hit her head.

I waited for 7 hours however the 2 doctors I eventually saw were very good. A young doctor got a consultant to have a look-the latter even had a bedside manner, something doctor’s lack nowadays.

Have had to attend A&E 5 times this year and am so very grateful to all the staff who’ve helped me with various issues. Every staff member has been friendly, helpful and kind. The waiting times have varied from 4 to 8 hours, but the 8 hour wait was on a Saturday night so not unexpected. I am so thankful for the NHS
