Probably the best hospital I have visited.On the 3rd of August I was admitted for a few hours,following complications from an operation I had just two days earlier,at a different hospital.I was in extreme pain and discomfort,and because I suffer with anxiety ,the thought of going to this big hospital ln Oxford filled me with dread.But the nurses were so nice and reassuring,I soon calmed down when I got there.I would like to give special thanks to a nurse who I think was called Laura,who spoke with I think ,an Irish accent.Sh... read more

What an absolutely incredible service we have at the John Radcliffe Hospital! My son broke his humerus at 4pm on Sunday and was in theatre by 10pm. Completed procedure by 1.30am and discharged by 2pm. From start to finish, everything was superb. We are so fortunate to have the best NHS Hospital in country (imo) if not the world! Thank you so much to everyone who helped care for my son.

I’ve chosen the hospital hoping to have a safe experience for my childbirth. I was wrong. Departments were closed due to lack of staff. I was in labour and in a queue for a delivery room! My first nurse were on double shift and explicitly told me she couldn’t wait to go home, while my contractions were kicking. After an emergency C section they put me in a room with other 5 new mums and no one gave me a plan or support with breastfeeding. I left the hospital the day after the operation out of desperation.
