After reading the reviews I felt like I had to give a first hand comment.I was a resident of Hay House for 6 months;a much better alternative than incarceration.Drugs are no more prevalent there than they are in jail. Each person has a choice of whether to go along with the rules and regs or not to.Its a choice.I found the staff, living quarters, amount of freedom and all else to be an excellent stepping stone to being a productive member of society. It costs less to be at HH than commisary in jail does.If anybody says different... read more
this place is set up for failure and about 85% of the offenders that have been to hay house have been violated and sent back to jail. the workers make it as rough as they possibly can on the offenders especially the ones that try to get their lives straightened out. its suppose to be a "faith based organization" wouldnt that mean that they are suppose to help these people well thats not the case the hay house is all about the money and making people miserable. i wouldnt recommend the hay house to anybody.
