Dr. Peterson has been one of the most disappointing and neglectful medical professionals I’ve ever dealt with. After diagnosing me with ulcerative pancolitis following my colonoscopy, he told me that Entyvio would be the safest and most effective medication for my condition — but after that, I never heard from him directly again. Dr Peterson came into the room going on about my port. He is a Gastro doctor, you are not supposed to be dogging me abput having one. I have a genetic test saying that I have Lynch Syndrome. He kept saying that he needed to see the genetic file from Cleveland Clinic before he would believe it. I get infusions because my stomach does not absorb vitamins. He said that I didn't need them. I drove over an hour for a 10 minute appointment. Dr.Peterson did not let me talk and did not help with my GI issues. The only information he gave me is that if I wanted to have a viable pregnancy to stop smoking. Which pregnancy wasn't even brought up by myself or on the referral. He was a very cold and rude person.
The doctor and the staff were very friendly. They made me feel like I was listening to and they took the doctor took the time to explain the differences in the results and make sure I knew everything and make sure I was understanding it. I really like that he was completely honest. He had a sense of humor and so did his nurses. They were just really great at this office but highly recommend this doctor. !!
On January 31st. 2024 I saw Dr. Peterson for a colonoscopy. Him and his staff were excellent, very cordial and my colonoscopy went very well. I would recommend Dr. Peterson to everyone.
