Nightmare hospital. Do not come here if you’re experiencing a medical emergency. Hundreds of nurses walking around with no sense of urgency. I came here because my uncle is suffering a mental emergency. Psychiatric emergency room sent us to the regular emergency room where we have been waiting here for over 3 hours with no doctor seen. This place sucks soooooooo bad.

This is a county hospital and most county hospitals service low income residents and this hospital is no exception BUT as a county hospital with plenty of internals they are VERY THOROUGH. My daughter had a great team and helped her with her medical issue. They were a blessing to her extremely attentive and detailed in resolving her issue. I definitely recommend going there.

Was here from 8pm to 3 am and the only reason I left at three was because I had to get MY OWN labs STARTED. Now my arm where I had blood Drawn is feeling pain and going numb. John Peter Smith will maim you and feel nothing. I would rather die than be subjected to how terrible I was treated at JPS
