Dr. John Breard was referred to me by Dr. Sue at the Boswell Banner MD Anderson Center on July 9th, 2025 as a spot was found on my lung during a routine cancer scan In May of 2025. I was told that I had to have a lung function test to see if I was a candidate for lung surgery. The test was completed on July 15th. I met with Dr. Breard on July 31st to discuss my options. I had the hiatal hernia repaired on February 4, 2025 by Dr. John Breard. I am 72 years old and in pretty good shape overall. ( I was told that that the hiatal hernia was a large one! ). Well, the surgery went so much better than I had anticipated, ( based on different outcomes that I’d read about). I took it easy for the first 2 wks then pretty much back to normal.
