Totally appalling! Sitting with the person i care for that has PTSD, major anxiety and other mental health issues for 45mins over our appt time. Old man gets up and complains that he cant wait any longer and cant come back later. Our Dr comes out and we are next. But NO the receptionist asks the dr if he can see the old guy first, & dr hesitantantly takes him through. I get up & ask at the desk what time his appt was, and it’s after ours! I recently visited this medical practice and had an extremely disappointing experience. The doctor I saw was unprofessional and repeatedly asked if I was using drugs or alcohol, despite my clear responses. I found this not only offensive but incredibly demeaning, as I do not use drugs nor consume alcohol. This line of questioning made me feel belittled and disrespected in a setting where I should have felt supported.
