A reliable neighborhood staple, cozy, fast service. Everything that sucks about the Hamptons is nowhere to be seen here. Real people. Coffee gets refilled without you having to ask. To be honest, the food itself is just okay—standard comfort diner fare without anything standing out too much—but the reasonable prices for the area and the nice staff make it a relief in a town going to the birds.

Note: I'm rating this place as a "diner" not as an upscale (& overpriced) Hamptons restaurant ;-). I love the casual vibe, the staff and the food. Their blueberry pancakes are excellent(!!!), everything I've had there is consistently good. I love JPs and so glad it's kept the retro vibe going
Always good, one of my favorite places in EAST HAMPTON.
