The doctor himself is great but his staff is horrible I have been trying to get a refill for a medicine I take once a week and not supposed to miss , I called for two weeks straight and left my chart messages no response. Now I’m in the third week still no medication. This is the worst customer service ever and a side effect of missing my dose is nausea and vomiting. Friday i finally get a call back and was told it’s not gonna be until next week until I can get my medicine.
I had an excellent experience during my first visit at WakeMed Primary Care Oberlin. The entire staff, from the receptionist to the Medical Assistants, was exceptional. Dr. Tanner provided thorough and attentive care. The facility was impeccably clean, contributing to a positive overall atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I went for the first time to establish a primary care physician and to also find out why I had been feeling so tired and rundown lately. I saw the nurse practitioner, Sara Miller, and she was wonderful and very caring. She did my bloodwork right there in the office. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor’s assistants were so helpful and supportive. I am an older person and I rarely find a doctor’s office that I am this pleased with - I highly recommend Wake Med at the Oberlin office.
