It’s time to update my review of an exceptional doctor; my surgeon July 13th 2023; he corrected what needed to be done for me to breathe normally, but that was when it first was done; it's almost 2 years now, and the fact remains the same plus better here is my uptake and updated review of my friend and the doctor. In our short time together, I found a physician and faithful friend. I’m sharing my experience after a year and 9 months—not because we couldn’t meet, but due to my incredible healing journey. Here’s my take on th... read more

I am utterly disgusted with the behavior of the receptionists at Dr. Sugrue's office. My 70+ year-old grandmother had sinus surgery scheduled for tomorrow when she got a text saying the appointment was at a different time than her pre-op paperwork said. She called the office because she was worried/confused something was wrong. My aunt is a 94-year old patient of Dr. Segrue. She has seen him five times, and each time there is at least a one-hour wait. On the last visit, the wait was two hours. He is a good doctor, but has no respect for his patient’s time. At 94, my aunt has other issues and to be kept waiting so long can cause real discomfort. He should schedule his appointments at more than 10-minute intervals. His scheduling process is poorly designed and requires a major adjustment.

I had recent nasal surgery with Dr. Sugrue. He, very thoroughly, explained the pros and cons associated with in office surgery (done under local anesthesia) vs hospital surgery (general anesthesia) so I can make the right (for me) decision. I’m grateful for doctors like him who take their time explaining and make their patients feel welcome and comfortable. I wasn’t at all worried about the surgery and had a smooth recovery. Thank you Dr. Sugrue and your wonderful staff!
