I have been seeing Doctor Manta for over thirty years now. I never hesitate to go to him for honest conservative. And realistic recommendations. He's funny, respectful, and a genuinely nice person. First and foremost Dr. Manta is a great doctor and surgeon. When I had pain in my knee, my first ortho told me it was just wear and tear from age(early 30s). My wife told me to get a second opinion and we were referred to Dr. Manta at Penn. As soon as he saw my x-rays he immediately noticed there was an issue and scheduled an MRI. The MRI showed I had patellofemoral arthritis. He gave me several options for treatment and I'm very thankful he was able to diagnose the issue. Dr. Manta also performed my rotator cuff surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Manta!!! I love his sense of humor!! I also like his PA. Ken. Very professional and competent . Chester County Hospital was also excellent!! I highly recommend Univ. of Penn and Dr. Manta. !!!
