Dr.Hong is not the problem. It's the front desk girls and medical assistant girls that treat elderly patients rudely, are incompetent, lack empathy for the elderly and lack basic customer service skills. The patients are THE CUSTOMERS paying $$$$$ and deserve red carpet treatment! Basic training needed!! I hope they read this and get a CLUE.
I reached out to Dr. Obert Hong during a period of worsening depression and passive suicidal thoughts, requesting a referral to therapy. While the referral itself was provided promptly, there was no follow-up—no confirmation that I’d successfully connected with care, no check-ins to monitor symptom progression during the transition, and no discussion about interim support such as restarting an antidepressant until psychiatric services could be established.
