I've visited this office twice now, but unfortunately, my experience hasn't met my expectations. During my annual visit, I asked Dr. Perry a question, and the response I received seemed incorrect. I kindly tried to clarify my question and express my concerns, but the conversation was abruptly cut short. I was told that the appointment was over and that I would need to schedule another visit to ask any additional questions. This left me feeling quite dissatisfied with the level of care and attention I received.
I went into the office for the first time to seek advice after having preeclampsia with my first child. By the end of my visit, Dr. Perry diagnosed me with second infertility and recommended blood work and a HSG test but didn’t inform me that women’s infertility labs and test weren’t covered and are excluded by most insurance. Please don’t make the mistake I made by not confirming with your insurance if your tests/lab work will be covered first. I received a few hefty labcorp bills over $2k.

From my experience this obgyn office is very irresponsible with billing and unexpected cost. Each visit charged way more than the amount my insurance allowed, even though my insurance should cover 100% of prenatal care. I called the front desk asking why the bill was too high, the staff was very unfriendly and irresponsible pushing the problem to my insurance. At the end I had to pay out of pocket for $1,200 for 3 visits. At 10 weeks pregnancy, the doctor referred me to Natera for nipt (non-invasive genetic test). The doctor... read more
Our experience with the medical staff has overall been very positive. Unfortunately our experience with their administrative staff and billing group has been quite poor. Most of our family’s issues have stemmed from insurance mix-ups: outside our control, our insurance coverage appeared lapsed when it wasn’t, requiring us to pay for visits/care up front (not something required by many other providers). This would be fine if John Muir gave clear direction about how to get reimbursed, but instead the front desk staff pushes it... read more
