From appointments prior to surgery, then surgery, and hospital discharge I could not of been happier. Dr McGowan and all his staff inspired confidence throughout the entire procedure. I highly recommend Dr McGowan!
Doesn't get any better. Yes I was nervous the few days before. I had nothing to worry about.. Mr McGowan and staff. Even the next day, i had a bad to antibiotic he was open and honest. At first visit, he said if he operated on my lower spine, let's just say i could of had horrable outcome. Tu ty Dr. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
WOW! I don't even know where to start. I don't have the words to convey what a brilliant and compassionate Dr. he is. I have never in my life met a doctor like Dr. McGowan. He is phenomenal in every way! My brother had a 3" meningioma and Dr. McGowan was professional, caring, explained everything so well, but would 'dummy it down' when I asked him to, he was confident and you could just feel the compassion he has for his patients. When I got to Kootenai Health E.R. I was a mess- I had a subdural hematoma and had aphasia and was on blood thinners. Dr. McGowan saw me that night and was hoping to wait a few days to do surgery. However, I got worse and had surgery that night. The first surgery didn’t stop the bleeding so Dr. McGowan had to go back in. That worked and I felt wonderful the next morning. Dr. McGowan performed my daughter's brain surgery. He may be the best doctor I've ever worked with. It is completely evident that he really cares a lot about his patients. He is a refreshing combination of extremely smart and humble. I would totally trust his care.
