Dishonest, Inconsistent, and Not Worth Hiring I usually only leave positive reviews, but after years of giving John McEvoy Landscaping chances, I feel it’s important to share my experience. If you hire this service, you'll need to buy your own weed whacker. We just got back from a 3 month trip to find our backyard totally overgrown, weeds are 2' high in places and you'd never know we had put in stone borders last fall, completely overgrown. This was my second time hiring them and firing them for the same reason. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Sad that I have to write this, but I’m fuming and done with this place. Been using him on and off for years and last week was the final straw. I come home last Tuesday to find that his grossly incompetent people ran over and destroyed a 50.00 hose, left bits and pieces of it on my property and then decided to take the hose that was left and not even shut the friggin water off!!!!
