i took a 25-yr old radio in for repair. It was unoperative and McDowell is the ONLY repair shop in the Pensacola area for repair of vintage standard radios. He did a miraculous repair for this nostalgic airwaves receiver at a very fair price. Excellent service.
Shop does not operate on a first-in-first-out basis. Skilled technician will work on your (whatever) when he gets damn good and ready and if you don't like it, you're out $40.
Took my stereo receiver there. Man had it for a year and a month before I tired of his excuses. Did nothing for me at all. Wouldn't let business change a lightbulb.
