We've worked with John McCuen for plumbing and HVAC for over 6 years. They were first recommended by the contractor finishing our basement space. They did such a good job on the project that since then they've taken care of all the plumbing and HVAC for our entire home. They are friendly, reliable, efficient, and have kept our home running in great shape for years!
The tech was very polite and came right to the point. He told us that no onw works on the type of unit we have. I appreciated his honesty.
AC unit wasn't blowing cold air. Feared the worst since it is an old unit. Rather than coming out and telling me I had to replace the whole unit, they were honest and showed me exactly what was wrong. Turned out to just be the fan motor, which they had in stock, and was replaced right away.
John & Keith responded within mere hours of our calling McCuen Plumbing and A/C last Friday night (on the eve of Memorial Day weekend) when we tried turning on our A/C and noticed it wasn't working well. They recharged it with freon and it's been working beautifully ever since. They also have called to make sure we were still doing well. We are very pleased with their responsiveness, ability to fix the problem and follow up.
Had to have my A/C replaced. After numerous quotes and dealing with numerous companies. It was refreshing to deal with a company that was honest and didn't try to upsell me on things I didn't need. I have used them in the past and they are always honest and professional. Highly recommend.
