He will take his time to answer questions but sometimes be kinda quick as he is a busy doctor. Overall though he is incredible and you can just be yourself with him.
I had a telehealth appointment. I was told to sign onto the telehealth 15 mins prior to the appointment and then 15 mins later I received a message saying he was with another patient. I waited 30 mins and hung up. My past office visits weren’t much better. I always have to wait at least 30 mins and when I see him he basically looks everything up online.
Needs to prescribe other things besides Medications.
Dr. Mapili is a kind, compassionate, doctor. Each time I have seen him, he takes the time to listen to any concerns and explain things. He then explains the treatment and why. I never feel rushed when I see him. He also has a great sense of humor.
He is a nice guy but I never really feel like he's listening to my health concerns or really understanding me. A lot of times when I ask a question, he just looks it up on his computer and reads off the screen. If I wanted to read web.md I would stay on my couch.
