I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Makipour, his assistant, the clinic staff, and the nurses in the OR. From scheduling, to consultation, to surgery day, every part of the experience was handled with grace, professionalism, and so much care. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and the communication throughout the process was top notch. Dr. Makipour is 10/10 as well as his MA! Super encouraging and kind. I had VSG/weight loss surgery in November 2025 and I’ve had great success with their team as well as the nutritionist they referred me to in Edmond (Nourish Nutrition) as part of the pre-operative program. Midwest City definitely needs Dr. Makipour’s expertise and positive attitude towards bariatric surgery!
I thank God he put me in the hands of the most kindhearted doctor I’ve had this past year and there have been plenty. My surgery went well and my recovery has been awesome.
