Unfortunately, had an unpleasant experience dealing with Ross. I understand negotiation is part of the process and completely respect that an offer may not be accepted. What didn’t sit right with me was the words and tone of the communication. Phrases like "jokes aside" after I made an offer and "I’d prefer to hold on to it than give it away" just felt like unnecessary comments rather than simply declining.
