Please do not expose yourself or loved one to this incompetent and uncaring physician. It is apparent that Dr.Wolford does not take his oath as a physician seriously. He has no bedside manner and lacks compassion. My wife was seen by Dr. Wolford last year. She had a standard upper endoscopy after experiencing weight loss. After the procedure, he proceeded to tell my wife that it was likely malignant… all while he stood in the doorway, not making any eye contact. Dr. Wolford is knowledgeable, caring physician. He listens and responds in detail and ask pertinent questions. I felt that Dr. Wolford was providing me with the information I needed to make an informed decision. He is an excellent physician and nice person as well.
Dr. Wolford is the ONLY doctor I trust when it comes to my stomach issues! He’s very experienced and very knowledgeable. When other doctors couldn’t give me answers, he did! He always takes a moment to help calm my anxiety down before procedures, and I’ll be forever grateful for that. If you’re a kind person, you’ll be met with a kind, compassionate doctor. A doctor who truly wants you to feel better!
He is a gastroenterologist, NOT a hematologist!!! He challenged my hemochromatosis diagnosis by TWO hematologists. He did bloodwork that should have been covered by my insurance, had he given proper diagnosis codes. I had to appeal testing via my insurance because Dr. Wolford did not give proper ICD9 codes. I was in the medical field for many years and did medical billing. He has probably scammed many patients who do not have my background.
