Completely misdiagnosed my problem and thought I needed a facelift and eye brow lift when I came in with ptosis and need that repaired.
I saw Dr. Frodel at the Guthrie Hospital in Sayre PA. First appointment was less than 10 minutes, he asked me about 5 questions. The second appointment was about 5 minutes and he didn't remember anything from the first appointment. The old man didn't even know how to use a camera to take pictures of my nose. He gave up taking pictures of my nose and said they weren't that important anyway. Plus his hands were shaking very badly. Exceptional!! Another doc said my problem probably couldn’t be fixed, but if anyone could do it, it would be Dr Frodel! Was he ever right,Doctor Frodel fixed it and did a perfect job. It couldn’t have been a easy fix, since there was so much damage! He did an amazing job! He was always kind and courteous and explained everything to me so I could understand what was going on . Wish he was still there!! One of the greatest doctors.
Refused to speak to me after surgery regarding a problem. When I finally saw him 2 weeks later he lectured me and then when he examined me found my problem was real. He had left something blocking my nasal cavity that I could not breath through my nose for 2 weeks. No apology, just arogant.
About a year and a half ago, I had SeptoRhinoplasty performed by Dr. Frodel. The surgery was botched. Since my 'experience' with Dr. Frodel, I've had two other surgeries to repair the initial problem and fix Dr. Frodel's mess up.
