I think Dr. John Kessler is about the best doctor I ever had. On one hand, I am sorry he is retiring...I will miss our quarterly consultations. He deserves time off, I wish him well.
Dr. Kessler is a very comforting physician, he listens and explains so one can really understand.
If there were 10 stars...he would get a 10!! Dr. Kessler IS the best of the best. Dr. Kessler is so dedicated to his work and cares for his patients, more than any Dr. that I have experienced, and I am 68 years old. Dr. Kessler is efficient, committed, personable and exemplifies the personal approach to medical care that has been lost in most every other Dr. that I have had to deal with. He (and the good Lord) have had my life in his hands and has taken the BEST care of it.....I love him!!
Dr. Kessler quite literally saved my life. When one chemotherapy method failed he was ready with another. He is genuine and personable and tells it like it is. I would recommend him to anyone fighting cancer.
I've been a patient since 2014, after having a double mastectomy from breast cancer and Dr. Kessler took great care of me from my first visit. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. There is never a long wait to be seen at scheduled appointments and they've even squeezed me after I thought I was scheduled but was not. The lab team (where I spend most of my time these days) are like family to me. I don't wish anybody to get cancer but if, it happens, V.O.A are the oncology team that I recommend.
