I'm a Type 1 Diabetic, who has been treated by Dr. Gilbert for the last 28, or 29 years. He has kept my A1c between 6.2 and 6.9 for the last 6 years consecutively, and and an A1c under 7.5 for the previous 16 years. That is.saying A LOT! I tended towards rapid, severe, debilitating Hypoglycemic episodes, and wide swinging A1c's, with many r DNA insulins. This doctor has no respect for Disabled Navy Veterans.
Dr. Gilbert has really helped me with some unusual issues related to my pituitary gland. He takes his time and looks at how many aspects of my health are working. I have been under Dr. Gilbert's care for this problem for many years. Recently he changed some of my medication to a newer medication that was not available when he first began treating me. The newer medication is wonderful. I take it less often and have less side-effects.
