Got John's glass pantry window for a pantry door in my new kitchen. It is nothing short of spectacular. A true work of art that wows everyone who sees it. Dealt with John over the phone and even though I was in the east coast, it was like dealing with a friend and neighbor. The piece came very well packaged when shipped. Stunning work. I could not be happier. Now all I have to do is to find other places in my home for his work.

For a remodel project I wanted two stained glass windows. One to bring in natural light while blocking the view to my neighbor's house. And one for the opening to a small attic that could be back lite to show off as an framed art piece. John was easy and fun to work with. We worked together on the design and they both turned out amazing. John is a true artist and professional. I just wish I had more projects for him to do.

There really aren't enough accolades to not only describe John's work. We had him do two 4 x 4 stain glass windows which flowed from one window to the next as an integral design. John worked with us as we developed the design together, though he really created most of it taking what we wanted and creating a beautiful design. We love his work so much that we are having his work with us on 2 additional projects. He even let us come and cut a few pieces of the glass that went in our windows....from beginning to end the creating... read more

John designed, crafted and installed three leaded glass windows on either side and above our front door, replacing wavy amber glass from the '70s. John listened to our thoughts about design possibilities and returned a few weeks later with colored sketches of a design spot on. Six weeks later, John installed the windows in a single morning. The workmanship is top notch, the design is beautiful and the price was surprisingly affordable.

John began with several key windows in our in-town home. They were beyond our expectations in art and beauty so we added three more rooms! Instead of looking into the wall of a neighbors home, we now look at beautiful art glass. John is an excellent and meticulous craftsman.

John Joy is an extremely talented artist/artisan as well as a reliable, conscientious person. This combination is rare. In the tired house we bought three years ago in Northern California, we wanted to put stained glass windows in three showers (two replacement windows, one brand new) for privacy and beauty (and a little whimsy), but didn't want them to be so busy that we couldn't see the view of the mountains outside. John Joy is a master artist. We have worked with him since 2006, and he has created beautiful art glass designs for three homes that we have built. We build luxury homes and John’s designs add to the quality of our homes. We really like working with John because he is not only a fabulous designer of stain and beveled glass but he also listens to his clients. I don't normally write reviews but I am so happy with my stain glass window in my front door. John, the owner, was fabulous. He was able to translate my idea for a stain glass into a real design. He has a great eye for color and design. All the glass suggestions he offered me I used and I would not have changed it one bit. He spent time educating me about the different kinds of glass that can be used. He is not only a true artist but also patient, very honest and fairly priced.
