Been here a few times with multiple vehicles. Never been treated with less than exceptional service. I’ve gone to over a dozen shops across the valley over 10+ years, and John Jay is, without a doubt, the most honest shop you will come across. They won’t sell you on things you don’t need, and they genuinely care about your safety and will tell you as it is. Had a recent alignment at Midas, and they left a loose nut on my outer tie rod which was on the verge of coming off. Midas left my wife with a vehicle on the verge of a c... read more
I had my first experience with this shop last week after my previous maintenance shop not far away that I had been using closed down. I’ve been bringing my 4Runner here for a few years now, and I’m so glad I found this shop after searching through online reviews after my previous mechanic retired. It’s a place you can truly trust, like many have said, you bring your vehicle in for one issue and don’t leave with a long list of unnecessary repairs. Mike, who will likely be the person you communicate with, is fabulous to deal with and a tremendous asset to John Jay. The shop is quite far from where I live, but it’s worth the drive. Honest, reliable mechanics ... read more
i initially found this shop just by looking at google reviews. i thought all 5 star reviews for an auto repair shop is unheard of, but this is the most HONEST and reasonably priced auto repair shop in scottsdale. mike and the rest of the team always tell you what you need and don't try to sell you anything you don't need. as a woman, i especially appreciate that they don't try to take advantage of me and even have feminine hygiene products in their bathrooms! unheard of! i have even stopped by when i have heard a noise on my... read more
What more can I say. 10 out of 10. I have been doing business with John Jay Automotive for the better part of a decade, and every single interaction has been noteworthy. Quality, value, customer service, and communication are all 10 out of 10. Mike is my go-to, please ask for him, he's absolutely amazing!
