I cannot recommend this place enough! This is the first time I've come across a mechanic shop that gave me honest service, didn't try to upsell me on anything, and explained things for me simply and clearly. I came in for a simple 150k miles vehicle inspection, which they did for me quickly and thoroughly, and they even changed one of my broken headlights for free. I’ve used John Jay Automotive a few times but will not be returning. After describing the engine issue, I tried to ask a few questions when dropping my car off and the man speaking to me was so incredibly rude I was stunned. Condescending and for lack of a better word, mean. The younger guy with the glasses was perfectly nice. The rude guy was a brown man and a bit older. I unfortunately didn’t catch his name.
