Wasn't helpful, he gave generic advice. He was once clipping his nails during our session, then eating through another.
My therapist didn't know what he was doing. He basically told me to ignore my thoughts (what?). When my parents told him about an unhealthy behavior of mine, he said "As long as she doesn't feel the need to do it all the time, it's no big deal." Along those lines. Oh and he seemed to have no idea what OCD is...
Compassionate, professional and really knows how to teach you how to work through all kinds of issues.
Dr. Wagner has helped me immensely!! I appreciate how relatable he is and how he doesn’t make it feel like I’m talking to a counselor (he doesn’t just sit there and say “so how do you feel about that?” And jot down notes without giving constructive feedback).. he’s very engaging and talks to me on a level where I feel heard and understood. He has helped me un-peel years and years of trauma to better understand myself which has helped tremendously with the healing process. I HIGHLY recommend him!
