To start, the office staff was attentive, knowledgeable, compassionate and very friendly. Dr. McGetrick is a very upfront, friendly yet professional and saw my need and addressed it very quickly even though he was going through a health issue of his own. I definitely suggest this doctor and this staff for your urology needs. This was my first time using them and they always say first impressions are extremely important. They passed with a ten!
Dr. McGetrick performed a biopsy yesterday. The entire experience was exceptional. He explained to me what would happen. He performed it at Ascension St. John’s and everyone at the hospital was wonderful. I was in at 6:30 am and out at 10:30.
I can’t say enough good about Dr. John McGetrick Jr and his team. I had a bilateral surgery yesterday because I had seven kidney stones and one of those stones was stuck in the urethra tube. Aside from very slight irritation in my bladder from the stent, I have absolutely no pain. I just came back from walking my dogs! You will not find a more skilled professional in St Augustine/Jacksonville area. From consultation, he is an avid listener who understands what each individual client goes through. He then carefully explains the options each patient needs to hear, the positives and negatives. He allows the patient all the time necessary for the patient to determine what is best for their circumstances. He is affable, great sense of humor, and always keeps his patients well being at the forefront of any procedure.
