I followed Dr. Calicchio from Rockaway to Hackettstown when he moved. I live in Denville. Dr. Calicchio is still as attentive as he was 10+ years ago. He is calm and professional. He follows through with forms and referrals. He is great with making me feel at ease—no matter what illness I’m seeing him about. He treats his fellow staff with respect. He is very knowledgeable about the many issues I have. He is generally on time, willing to talk, and accurate with his treatment.
In short made appointment this morning at 9:53 for 1230 this afternoon the guy on the phone told me there was an available appointment at 8:45 1115 at 12:30 with Dr. Murphy I do not know Dr. Murphy I joked with the girls at 8:45 had already passed she made the appointment for 1230 arrived at doctors office it was a huge misunderstanding in front of me with the same young lady that I spoke to on the phone I waited 15 minutes to check in and when I went to check in I was told they did not have an appointment I recited our conv... read more
Dr. Calicchio is one of a kind. He never makes you feel rushed, always listens throughly and treats his patients with courtesy & respect.
Dr. Calicchio is knowledgeable and smart. He’s a great listener. He is cautious and thorough.
My family has been with Dr. Calicchio for years He is a great doctor! He has moved and is missed! I referred to my in-laws who have also seen him for years. I am grading Skylands facility and not his present facility.
I was a patient of Dr Calicchio's for MANY years. Unfortunately, I moved & he moved; so I am unable to see him any longer. He was always very patient, understanding, very good at diagnosing illnesses & other issues. He was also very good at making sure medications were properly prescribed & also with figuring out what else to try if something did not work out properly.
He received this score from me for a few different reasons... 1) Pressured me to take a medicine that has horrible psychological side effects even though I was extremely resistant. I did not end up take this drug knowing myself and how this could possible been life threatening to me. 2) Would not prescribe medicines that I need and have been taking when the original doctor prescribing my medicines wasn't practicing any longer. I am now forced to find another doctor who will give me the care.
Probably one of the best Dr.'s I've ever had. He is patient, understanding and explains everything to to very carefully (layman's) terms) so you will understand.
