I haven't had the pleasure of meeting this man. His phone conversations with me were far enough to. Make my mind up. He's very condescending and talks down to you like you have the intelligence of a rock. He talks over you like it not there. The only thing he has done was to introduce me to Dr. Rathggod. Very ok intelligent man. Maybe he should. Take some lessons on bedside manners. And listen instead of talking down to people who are obviously going through a rough time already
Dr. Iskandar is one of the most professional and knowledgeable doctors that I have ever met. He operated on my spine, and returned my quality of life. I owe a debt of gradititude to this wonderful man. I highly recommend him.! Byron G. Kellogg
Dr. Iskandar fixed a previous surgeon's work. I'm only a few days removed and I already feel better than my first go-round. Very little pain, he cleaned up a lot of the previous bad work on my insides. Dr. Iskandar is amazing! His staff could be more proactive, but that has nothing to do with Dr. Iskandar's work. He truly is a great doctor. I was very impressed with the level of care and attention he gave me.
An amazing Dr. My 88yr old grandma who has dementia had to have a spinal fusion done after ending up in the ER. Dr Iskandar came in and sat with me and explained all of my options. The good the bad and the in between. Surgery was our only choice and with her age that was scary to do major back surgery. He was there for any questions we had and was never rushed. His bedside manner was amazing. Her surgery went amazing and the follow up visits have been great. I would highly recommend
even though dr iskandar fixed my fiancees problem with surgery to his neck in feb 2017, his office staff and his bedside manner are horrible.they wont return calls on the med refills he needs to continue physical therapy they have cancelled 2 appts 30 to 45 minutes before they are scheduled they also have billed his medicare for the two appts we were not seen for which is medicare fraud! in doing a little research on him have found out he gave up his license in pa due to disciplinary action.
After mistakes made by our primary care physician's office, along with 4 trips to ER, someone finally listened to us in reference to my husband's back pain. Dr. Iskandar literally came to the rescue! He reviewed the MRI, examined my husband, and explained in detail what the problems were. Surgery was scheduled for the next morning! It went beautifully! Dr. Iskandar has been available to answer questions and oversee healing. The surgery was 6 months ago; my husband's back is doing great!
Due to nature of the emergency surgery I needed involving my spinal cord, I was a little hesitant to just accept the hospital on-call neurosurgeon. We also couldn't find many reviews for him and actually considered discharging and going to somewhere like Barrows. But Dr. Iskandar and his staff were phenomenal. He explained things well, visited me every day before and after surgery (even on the weekend) and best of all never once made us feel like he was rushed. He and his staff are world class.
