I missed my morning appointment. Mrs. Kathy rescheduled me for an afternoon appointment. I am so grateful for Dr. Gemma and his staff. They are very welcoming and patient.
Not really an integrative or functional medicine center. Smoke and mirrors. But they do have an acupuncturist on staff. As far as I can tell, Johns Hopkins does not employ any actual certified functional medicine doctors or other practitioners who are certified by The Institute for Functional Medicine. This is a shame because certified functional medicine doctors are trained in the utilization and interpretation of more extensive lab tests which none of the Johns Hopkins doctors have.
