Scam. They only cover 4 hours/day and the policy doesn't pay out any leftover value. And unless someone is on long term care for 20+ years (which is no one), jhltc gets over 100k rolled back to them each time because they wont pay more than $123/day in any event...you wont even get to use half of your total benefit.

Horrible company, Horrible people! DELAY AND DENY. They do everything they can so they don’t have to pay any money. NEVER use John Hancock long term care insurance.

If I could give minus stars I would! The customer service is awful. You get different answers regarding your policy all the time. It is like the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. After paying tons of money for years they put the policy holder ( in our case a 95 year old stroke patient) through hell to get homecare paid out. Dont walk RUN away from this company! There are way to many better companies and options
