I have had 2 major surgeries over the last 6 months at different private hospitals, and I would like to highly recommend John Flynn. during the staging for surgery through to recovery, the whole team were very kind and made my experience so easy and comfortable. The nurses in CCU were amazing, very professional and caring, and even the food was good! Thank you to all the staff at John Flynn Hospital.

Definitely the best hospital myself, or my family, have been to! Had surgery here and the staff were all amazing, kind, and so helpful. Afterwards, the surgical ward was great - very large single rooms, quiet, and the outdoor area at the end of the corridor was a great space to recover in and get some fresh air. Highly recommend as the place to go if you need surgery on the Gold Coast. Despite being on a restricted diet, the food was also great quality for hospital food! When the worst happens and you need surgery, at a scary time, I need you to know you don't need to look anywhere else. I was admitted, nursed, operated on, sedated and looked after by the most incredible team. The care I received from every single person, from the admission staff, to nurses, to hospital assistants, radiology staff, anaesthetist and surgeon, I couldn't have asked for a more caring experience. I recently visited JF for an iron transfusion & have visited the maternity ward several times during my pregnancy journey and have always found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. All the staff seem very happy in their jobs & with big smiles on their faces. The care is excellent and everything is so well organised and professional. I would strongly recommend to anyone going through their pregnancy journey to consider JF hospital.

My experiences pertain to the services of current multiple specialists in the Specialist Suites I attend. They are knowledgeable, empathetic and clear in their communication and explanations of my condition. Specialists I’ve used at these suites for my children have also exceeded expectation. Parking can be difficult from early morning with limited close areas if mobility impaired- they do offer a regular ongoing shuttle service from parking areas to the hospital/suites.
