Very competent manner. Took away any concern related to any lack of explanation or understanding.
In April, I had my first appt with Dr. Flannery. I am a Chron's patient who developed a fistula that required surgery. All points of visit/surgery/aftercare were top notch. I knew what was going on and what to expect at all times. Recuperation went without a hitch and everything turned out well. I know that my condition will probably require future surgeries and I have no problem having Dr Flannery as my surgeon.
Dr. Flannery most likely saved my life when I was diagnosed with diverticulosis last October. Since I had serious intestinal infection, he had to do everything necessary to stop that process and set me up for healing. Having done an excellent surgical job (twice), I am now on my way to being healthier than I have been for a long time. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone with intestinal problems.
I would not recommend a dying animal to this man. I nearly watched my son die due to his and this hospital's incompetence. He (a surgeon!!) couldn't even put an ng tube in my son 3x until we had him stop. It's appalling this hospital is still allowed to operate. I placed one star only because I had to in order to submit this. It is less than zero stars for me.
Dr Flannery was great to work with in a rough time for me. He and his staff were highly professional and was a pleasure working with him.
My Primary Care Doctor Stephen Levine sent me to Dr. Dicesare for my disorder and medication needs. I have seen a few Psychiatrists since my diagnose in 2007, Never went back as they were a bit cold. When my condition really starting to get bad ,Dr. Levine (THE BEST!) insisted I see Dr. Dicesare So I did.I felt so comfortable opening up to him, which is very hard for me, he tried different medications, and ALWAYS, responded to all my messages. I feel very blessed to have them as my Doctors.
I wouldn’t even recommend him to a stranger. I am living in excruciating intolerable pain now. In my opinion he is curt, pompous, lacks in empathy and compassion. He has poor communication skills. He states his Core Philosophy is simple: the best-informed patient has the best outcome. I was not informed of my surgical path until immediately before surgery. He utilized approx. 3-sentences. He seemed angry that I had questions. He didn’t make a Post Op visit in the hospital.
Wonderful Doctor.
He is an excellent doctor, very caring and informative. I had complete faith in his abilities. Everything turned out great and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a colon/rectal doctor.
