After receiving a “common school” education, he entered the plumbing business in 1913. On July 14th, 1921, he formed a partnership with H. Vowinkle of Sheboygan. I spoke with Joe Filbrandt a month ago and asked if he would be available to complete some work in mid-June if needed as we had a some foundation work being completed to convert our cabins to year round and were unsure if the water lines were deep enough. He said he would be able. As mid-June arrived he was unresponsive by email or phone.
