Impressive I have only taken my car here once, but will definitely be coming back for anything related to my car. Jerry, the manager, was absolutely wonderful. I was in an accident and needed to document an inspection for legal reasons. He made it as painless as possible and went out of his way to meet any requests I made, including patiently answering all my questions, allowing me to take the pictures myself (using his camera), and making sure I had access to the pictures I took and the inspection results. I recommend John Ellis to everyone I have been going to John Ellis & Son for 4 years now, they are friendly, honest, and experienced professionals. I have never been told I needed something fixed that didnt need to be I trust their word and their work. When I take my car in I can be assured that the job is done right the first time. They also are understanding, they have a customer assistance program so when I couldnt pay for the job upfront they have set up payment plans for me on more then one occasion and they have never ... read more

I have taken every car I've owned in my adult life to Ellis and Sons. They are extremely honest, thorough and fair mechanics. the shop is clean, the staff are friendly, and they don't talk down to people who don't know much about cars.

best shop in town Over the last 30 years, I have taken my trucks to several shops in the Sacramento area. I always come back to John Ellis and Sons. No shop in town come close to the work, honesty, and professionalism of John Ellis and Sons. I have never been charged for work they have not done and have never had work recommended that I did not need done. They even fixed some work that other shops have messed up. Again, hands down, the best shop in town. Go there. You won't be disappointed.
