I've hired John twice now: once for damp proofing and also for internal wall plastering. He saved me a great deal of time, mess and expense by informing me that the damp-proof work that another company had quoted for was entirely unnecessary. His straightforward and honest manner is a breath of fresh air. Punctual, professional, honest. Highly recommended!

John is a highly skilled lime specialist. He removed render from a large area of wall in our house (see yellow cottage in the photos). We are very pleased with the quality of his work. He is reliable, punctual and gave us some helpful advice. We would have him back.

John came to look at a serious damp problem we had after having a few unsatisfactory surveys done by other companies who just wanted to quote for unnecessary work. John was like a breath of fresh air after the first two and his advice meant we saved £,000s. Not only that, he kept in touch to check if his advice solved our damp problems, which it did. Would definitely recommend and will think of John first for any rendering or plastering we need in the future.
