I get a kick out of kids. My love of caring for kids and their families has filled my career with a lot of laughter and joy. I have practiced here in Fort Myers since 1993, and have been in solo private practice since 2001. The mission continues to be to provide experienced, expert, compassionate, and dedicated care to the children of Southwest Florida with neurological conditions. I am thankful to the community for making this possible.

Absolutely amazing. He took his time with my daughter. He spoke to her and actually got her to speak for herself (she is 11 and super shy). Went through everything piece by piece and explained everything to her so she had an understanding of why things were happening. Very pleased.
Dr. Osterman really surprised us with his sincerity and level of care. He did not rush us and gave us his undivided attention for over 2 hrs! I’ve never had a doctor spend that kind of time to ensure we understood everything and to reassure us. He was patient with our toddler and took the time to make our son feel comfortable and included. Dr. Osterman is clearly passionate about what he does and is very knowledgeable in the field. We highly recommend him!
Dr. Osterman and his office are very professional. I would highly recommend him. He did an amazing job of explaining everything in detail and took his time with my daughter. We didn't feel rushed, overall wonderful experience. I am happy to have my daughter in his care.
We are grateful to have met Dr. Osterman, he has cured my daughter with her seizures, so gentle to our concerns and fears. Dr. Osterman showed confidence in his work and that gave us comfort to stay with him, he diagnoses were right on and I wouldn't of had changed him. Since then my daughter has been seizure free for 2 years and her school grades have been from F to all A and B's, and was skipped a grade she feels confident and loves her Dr. and so do we. I would highly recommend Dr. Osterman to anyone looking for a Dr. His office staff are excellent and so is he. He is very patient and explains things thoroughly. I truly appreciate him and his staff.
Doctor Osterman took his time during consultation. He answered all our questions while seated on his stool, not holding the door knob like many other doctors do nowadays. The times we were at his office, we did not have to wait more than 5 minutes. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody that asks me.
He was extremely thorough and very informative. I was impressed that he did not dismiss my concerns or rush us out of the office. He addressed my daughter and asked questions she could understand and answer. I really appreciate his kindness and generosity with his time!
Dr. Osterman takes his time and listens! He is a pleasure to deal with. It is a clean, efficient, calm office. His assistant Joy is a pleasure to deal with also. This office is very impressive, unlike most chaotic medical offices.
We have been searching for a medical professional able to diagnose and treat our daughter for three years. Our search has ended. Dr. Osterman is extremely intelligent and his knowledge is backed up by over two decades worth of experience. His bedside manner is "teenager approachable" and he is able to get the information he is seeking from his patient. We have six children and have had our share of Dr. visits over the years. This guy is definitely a KEEPER!
