After suffering for so many years , I decided to consult with a orthopedic surgeon to view my options . My condition turned out to be far worst than , I imagined , surgery was my only option . Yes , I was skeptical and very concerned , because the operation consist of cervical fusion removing the front part of cervical 3 or C-3 , the operation was preformed February 22 , 2019 . Now here almost 9 months later with a recovery of almost 100% . So , I really recommend OMS of Trumbull CT. .
Dr. McCallum is HORRENDOUS! He had absolute no bedside manner and sent home two of my family members (Over the age of 80) less than 24 hours after knee surgery. Upon sending them home, they fell and were back at the hospital within hours. McCallum refuses to send them to rehab centers for fear that he may lose money from medicare if they get an infection. Well, an infection would be better than the condition they are in when they get sent home.
I highly recommend Dr. Girasole. My vertebrae collapsed, and I couldn't walk without pain. After the operation, which was major, I was walking the next day. I'm now walking free from pain, and function normally with every day tasks. He took the time to answer any questions or concerns I had, before and after the surgery. A great doctor!
Dr. Girasole is an amazing doc I would recommend him to any one..... He was very patient and understanding when I went in for my lower back pain. He made sure I understood every term he was using. If i had to choose him all over again i would with no questions ask.....thank you and your team
He's rude & in a hurry like he's working a conveyer belt and doesn't let you explain your situation(s) because he's sure he already knows it. Perhaps I caught him on a bad day.
This physician documented examination results on my record that never happened. He was flippant and rude when I complained of severe nerve pain, inability to sleep and need for help with rehab. I was not drug seeking, as I do not take or desire narcotics. He told me that I had a severe injury and it "was going to hurt." He ordered nerve testing weeks after the injury when he should have done them in the beginning when I demonstrated severe muscle dysfunction. Very professional. Very prompt and staff was excellent. Did spinal surgery for me and did a very professional job.
I have had 2 surgical procedures done within the last seven years, cervical fusion and recently lower lumbar fusion. Both surgeries went very well and I no longer have any pain or discomfort. I highly recommend Dr.Girasole and Dr.Mintz and their entire staff. In my book they are the best surgeons. I have complete trust and faith in them.
